Staff from The Hereward Practice were thrilled to visit Bakkavor's Bourne factory to provide health information and carry out blood pressure checks for staff. 

Bakkavor, the UK's leading salad and freshly prepared food manufacturer, organised the two-day 'Know Your Numbers' event so that their employees were able to have their blood pressure and pulse monitored without the inconvenience of leaving the site. 

It was an ideal opportunity for Hereward staff to distribute health information, catch up with existing patients we haven't seen for a while and engage with the wider workforce. 

High blood pressure is a major risk factor for strokes, heart attacks and heart failure so it is really positive to see Bakkavor offering this wellbeing support. 

Thanks to them for making our team so welcome while delivering healthcare in a very different setting from their colleagues, who were back at the Hereward Practice!
